Types of Classes
SPICE Barre

 

We seek to empower and strengthen our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.   Our classes are carefully crafted to meet the needs of all our participants.  Special time is carved into the end of all our classes for savasana, a final resting pose.  This time invites participants to take a moment for stillness, breath, and reflection.

 

SPICE Barre

Barre is a low impact, full body workout blending together various aspects of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength based exercises.  Our classes are designed to keep muscular development balanced by incorporating the use of hand weights, resistance bands, bender balls, mat work, and of course the barre.  This is a challenging but fun class set to lively music to keep that energy pumping!  In these classes, you will work on stability, strength, stamina, toning, and stretching.  Grip socks required/class runs 50-60 minutes

SPICE Barre Vibes

SPICE Barre Vibes is a unique and balanced blend of yoga and barre.  This class will start with all the best aspects of a barre class and then moves to the mat with a strength based yoga flow, at times using hand weights and other resistance props.  Participants will build muscle and balance through barre and a sculpt yoga practice. Grip socks required/class runs 50-60 minutes

 SPICE Hip-Hop Barre

Building on the standard Barre class, this one takes things to a new level of attitude and sass. The class will incorporate cardio hip-hop movements, full body toning exercises, fitness props, and mat work within a low impact structure. High-energy music mixed with slow jams will infuse the setting with inspiration and exhilaration. Grip socks required/class runs 50-60 minutes

SPICE Barre D.T.S (Down to Sweat)

This SPICE Barre D.T.S. is a high energy version of a typical barre class. You will experience a full body workout blending together various aspects of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength based exercises.  Our classes are designed to keep muscular development balanced by incorporating the use of hand weights, resistance bands, bender balls, mat work, and of course the barre.  This is a challenging but fun class set to lively music to keep that energy pumping!  In these classes, you will work on stability, strength, stamina, toning, and stretching. Grip socks required/class runs 60 minutes

SPICE Piloxing Barre 

PILOXING Barre utilizes the same fundamental disciplines (Pilates & Boxing) as PILOXING SSP.  Using a ballet barre for stability and resistance in this 55-minute cardio program, you lengthen, you strengthen and you box our heart out! Happy joint, strong muscles, healthy heart; that is PILOXING Barre!

SPICE Power Pilates

This class is flexible for all levels. Pilates is a precision-based group of exercises which first focus on the core (abdominal and back muscles) and then branch out to strengthen and tone the entire body. Pilates non-impact strengthening exercises are performed on mats with fitness props such as balls, circles and light weights. Grip socks required/class runs 50/60 minutes

  • We have designate hours for 3/1 sessions so you can feel confident that you can not get charged extra if someone cancels.
  • If the 3 slots are booked for the time you were hoping for, you will be put on a waiting list.

3/1 time slots are:

Tuesday 8:30AM, 9:30AM and 10:30AM

Wednesday: 4:00PM and 5:00PM

Thursday: 4:00PM and 5:00PM

  • All packages are good for 4 months, before they expire.
  • There is strict 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments.
    • If you cancel within the 24 hour window, you will be charged for that service.

SPICE Bhakti

Bhakti Vinyasa is an energetic yoga flow that blends together consistent movement, breath control, and memorization.  The entire class is kept at a steady rhythm which helps the mind and body transition to a more meditative state throughout the entire practice. This style focuses on self-control regarding slower movement and slower breath as we build heat and strength from the inside, out. No socks required/class runs 50 minutes

SPICE Bliss Yoga

Never practiced yoga? Want a calmer, non-intimidating way to learn more about this powerful ancient practice? Or perhaps you’ve had a long day/week and just want to decompress and move your body in a way that feels good? This class is suitable for total beginners or experienced yogis who want a refresher on the basics of a yoga practice. This slow-paced, stress-relieving class uses props such as blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets, to help the body release and relax into each posture. This class will focus on breaking down proper technique and alignment. Emphasis will also be on core strength, flexibility and balance, as well as the connection between breath and movement. Leave your stressful thoughts at the door and return home feeling refreshed. No socks required/class runs 50-60 minutes

SPICE Recovery

Are you an active person, a runner, a cyclist, a weight lifter or avid gym goer? Are you looking for the perfect active recovery class at the end of the week? If not, even if you sit at a desk or in a car for long periods of time you’ll benefit from this class that focuses on range of motion, opening the hips, improving posture, balance, and strengthening the core. Other focus will be put on lengthening the spine, tight hamstrings and, mindful breathing. Mixed Level. No socks required/class runs 60 minutes

 

SPICE S.B.C.

We seek to empower and strengthen our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.   Our classes are carefully crafted to meet the needs of all our participants. SPICE S.B.C.

S.B.C. stands for Strength, Balance, Core

Within this class participants will use resistance BANDS, stability BALLS, and BOSUs to strengthen the whole body while improving balance and core function. Our instructors incorporated functional movements that are relatable to everyday life creating stamina and longevity. The class will end with poses to improve flexibility and a short meditation to leave you feeling calm and refreshed. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. Grip socks or sneakers are required/class runs 50-60 minutes

SPICE H.E.A.T., HIIT the Mat, and Turbo Kick

SPICE HIIT the Mat

Not sure whether you want an energetic, heart-pumping workout or a slower, restorative session? This class combines the best of both worlds! We begin with 25 minutes of high intensity intervals of cardio and strength (adapted for every fitness level), then we move to the mat for 25 minutes to calm our mind and body with restorative stretches and poses. You will leave this class feeling refreshed! Clean athletic shoes required/class runs 50 minutes

SPICE H.E.A.T.

H.E.A.T. stands for Hearts pumping, Energy up, Alternating exercises, Total body

A typical class will involve variety of equipment to increase stamina, improve cardiovascular health, gain muscular strength, and build a stronger core. You can look forward to a fun, creative, circuit workout that is suitable for all fitness levels. With all classes, modifications can be made.  This type of class helps burn fat and boost metabolism. This class can be catered to ALL fitness levels who are injury free and willing to work hard. Clean athletic shoes required/class runs 50-60 minutes

SPICE Turbo Kick

Turbo kick is an aerobic exercise, meaning it raises your heart rate and burns calories. Turbo kick teaches participants boxing moves such as kicks and punches. A typical turbo kick class usually features 45 minutes of cardiovascular work and 15 minutes of cooling down and strength conditioning.

Individualized Health Coaching
As an ACE-certified Health Coach, Stacey Spalding is a health promoter, an educator,
and an active partner in unlocking the potential each client has to live a healthy
lifestyle. Individual wellness programs are tailored to meet clients’ needs and help
them adopt healthier habits one small step at a time.
She uses a holistic approach and works together with clients to look at how all parts
of a person’s life affect their health as a whole. With a focus on developing good
habits, instead of creating restrictions, she works with clients to create a happy,
healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun, and rewarding.
As we work together, clients develop a deeper understanding of the food and
lifestyle choices that work best for them and implement lasting changes that
improve energy, balance, and health.

Month-to- Month, as well as 3-Month programs are offered.

What you can expect:
 – Two, one-hour sessions per month (in person or via phone or Skype).
 – Unlimited email support between sessions.
 – Multiple weekly check-ins with inspiration and motivation to hold you accountable.
 – A personalized plan curtailed to your individual health concerns and goals.
 – Relevant and informative handouts/articles.

**** Cancellation Policy****

If class is cancelled less than 2 hours prior to your scheduled class your account will be charged a single class ($11.00). If you are a monthly member you will be charged $10 for a no show.

****Special Events/Workshops/Special Classes****

 Must cancel 5 days prior to event for full studio refund added to your account.

After the 5 days, no refund.

All appointments have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  You will be charged your session if it is within the 24 hours of your session.
