SPICE CLASS DESCRIPTONS
SPICE BARRE

SPICE BARRE

Join us for our signature barre workout! SPICE Barre is a low impact, full body workout blending together various aspects of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength based exercises. Our classes are designed to keep muscular development balanced by incorporating the use of hand weights, resistance bands, bender balls, mat work, and of course the barre. This is a challenging but fun class set to lively music to keep that energy pumping! In these classes, you will work on stability, strength, stamina, toning, and stretching. Grip socks required.

 

SPICE Barre Circuit

Barre Circuit is a blend of circuit training with barre exercises at the Barre, TRX, BOSU and light weights. You will experience a full body workout blending together various aspects of ballet, Pilates and strength based exercises. Grip socks required.

SPICE Barre Vibes
This class is a unique and balanced blend of pilates and barre. This class will start with all the best aspects of a barre class for 30 minutes and then moves to the mat for a 30 minute of Mat Pilates with emphasis on core strengthening. Grip socks required.

Have you ever punched at the barre?! PILOXING Barre utilizes the same fundamental disciplines (Pilates & Boxing) as PILOXING SSP.  Using a ballet barre for stability and resistance in this 45 minute interval class you will alternate between punching blocks and classical barre exercises. Options will be given for jumping make this a workout for all levels. Grippy socks are recommended for this class, but you can wear tennis shoes.
SPICE CARDIO
SPICE Strength, Cardio, Core 
SPICE Strength, Cardio, Core (SPICE SCC), formerly known as SPICE HEAT., will involve a variety of equipment to improve cardiovascular health, gain muscular strength, and build a stronger core. You can look forward to a fun, creative, interval workout that is suitable for all fitness levels. With all classes, options can be made. A typical class will start with a warm up, followed by strength based exercises with bursts of cardio (low impact and high intensity options) weaved into the format. You will round out class with some core work followed by stretching and a moment to reflect on your hard work. Clean athletic shoes required. Be sure to properly hydrate and fuel your body before class.

Equipment varies but you could expect to use things such as hand weights, TRX, BOSU, resistance bands, steps, glider discs, stability balls, etc.

SPICE HIGH Low FITNESS
HIGH Low™ is a low impact aerobics experience based on traditional aerobics principles creating a steady state cardio workout. This action packed, full body blast will challenge you all the while keeping it LOW. HIGH Low uses cardio and toning tracks choreographed with simple fitness moves that result in a high energy, fun and effective group fitness class that will keep you coming back for more! Clean athletic shoes required.                                                                                                                                                            
SPICE 305 Fitness®
It is not a dance class, it is a dance party! 305 fitness® is a 45 minute non-stop dance fitness cardio party. 305 includes a segment of total body toning and high intensity interval training. Class ends with a relaxing stretch. Get ready to shake it! Clean athletic shoes required.                                                                                                                                                                                          
SPICE PILOXING™
 Come try the latest Hollywood fitness craze! PILOXING™ uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape. PILOXING™ is the brainchild of Swedish dancer and celebrity trainer Viveca Jensen. Grippy socks or clean athletic shoes required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                
SPICE Strength, Cardio, Core with Fascia 
The first 25 minutes of class will involve a variety of equipment to improve cardiovascular health, gain muscular strength, and build a stronger core. You can look forward to a fun, creative, interval workout that is suitable for all fitness levels. With all classes, options can be made. A typical class will start with a warm up, followed by strength based exercises with bursts of cardio (low impact and high intensity options) weaved into the format. The last 25 minutes will be a Flow & Fascia yoga with the foam rollers and tennis balls to stretch into the muscles you just worked. Clean athletic shoes required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
SPICE HIIT the Mat 

Not sure whether you want an energetic, heart-pumping workout or a slower, restorative session? This class combines the best of both worlds! We begin with 25 minutes of high intensity intervals of cardio and strength (adapted for every fitness level), then we move to the mat for 25 minutes to calm our mind and body with restorative stretches and poses. You will leave this class feeling refreshed! Clean athletic shoes required.

SPICE PILATES
SPICE PILATES
Our Mat Pilates class is based on the important principles of Pilates while incorporating props such as magic circles, mini-bands, and mat work. Pilates is a precision-based group of exercises which first focus on the core (abdominal and back muscles) and then branch out to strengthen and tone the entire body. Grippy socks are required for this class.
SPICE YOGA
SPICE Chakra Flow Yoga 
Chakra yoga is a type of yoga practice that combines various aspects of other yogic traditions to activate the energy centers along the spine, also known as the chakras. This Vinyasa flow yoga will activate the lower chakras and open the upper chakras. No socks required. You may bring your own mat or mats are available to use at the studio.                                                          
SPICE Flow & Fascia Yoga

Find your flow and release your fascia! In this yoga class we will incorporate a variety of asana (poses) to improve your strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance. Additionally, we use self myofascial release tools (such as foam rollers and tennis balls) as a form of soft tissue therapy that releases pain and increases mobility. Fascia is a network of connective tissue that surrounds and includes your muscles. Facial release improves the slide and glide of your tissues and hydrates them through the act of compressing and releasing, freeing up more mobility than is achievable with stretching alone. No socks required. You may bring your own mat or mats are available to use at the studio.                                                                                                                

SPICE Flow Yoga 

Our SPICE Flow Yoga is designed to challenge and energize you, incorporating strength, stamina, flexibility and balance. This all levels Yoga Flow is a traditional Vinyasa yoga that features numerous modifications and options to make the practice accessible for yogis of all levels. No socks required. You may bring your own mat or mats are available to use at the studio.                    

SPICE Flow Yoga 2.0
This intermediate Vinyasa yoga class will encourage fitness, strength and flexibility through precise alignment and postures practiced with breathing synchronicity. This invigorating flow yoga class is designed for those who want to deepen their practice by exploring more dynamic and challenging methods of practice. Expect unique flowing sequences and learn to stay self-aware and calm in the midst of challenge. This class is recommended to those clients with yoga experience.                                           
SPICE FUNdamentals Yoga
In this class the basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, forward folds, and hip openers. No socks required. You may bring your own yoga mat or we have mats available at the studio.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
SPICE Yoga Strength
This class will involve a variety of yoga props to improve flexibility, gain muscular strength, and build a stronger core. You can look forward to a fun, creative yoga experience that might include light weights, resistance bands or other strength training props. This class is suitable for all fitness levels. With all classes, options can be made. No socks are required. You can bring a yoga mat or yoga mats are available for the studio to use.
